The majority of our clients employ welding inspectors on a full time basis, but from time to time during major pipeline or plant construction requires qualified and certified welding inspectors.

The inspectors working with GPTI are well qualified and certified by A.W.S., C.S.W.I.P., or British Gas (E.R.S). The services we provide onsite are numerous, ensuring compliance to contractual specifications, witnessing qualification tests, developing welding procedures, interpretation of X-ray or Gamma ray radiographs, monitoring welding on pipeline barges and various other critical tasks.

We provide a comprehensive range of specialist Engineers to the Oil & Gas power and general construction industries. Our inspectors are also able to provide technical advice on remedying critical welding related issues and improve and enhance the welding procedure specification (WPS).

Welding inspection for all sectors of the industry is governed by the applicable codes/standards/specification and contract documents. These requirements are further reviewed and stated in the inspection & Test Plan (ITP) / Activity Control Plan (ACP). All our inspectors are well trained and certified to internationally recognized schemes to understand the relevant code / standards / specification acceptance criteria and analyze the end result for acceptance.
